- 2
Tone plus Louder
Phone-mic tone loads with the Louder loudness preset aimed at a stronger share level.
- 3
Preview and download
Check before/after and download WAV or M4A.
Why phone takes come out quiet
- People sit too far from the phone mic.
- Conservative AGC leaves headroom that sounds timid on speakers.
- Soft sources disappear next to platform loudness norms.
Louder, still controlled
Loudness presets aim for shareable level — not brickwall smash or mastering for vinyl.
Common questions
- Will this clip or distort?
- Output limiting helps, but very hot sources can still distort — preview before you download.
- Is this the same as turning up my phone volume?
- No — it raises the file’s level toward a louder loudness target so the export itself plays stronger.
- Can I still trim?
- Yes — trim first if the quiet part is buried in a longer recording.
