1. What we collect

We collect as little as we need. When you visit the site, our hosting provider may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate location. We also use aggregated analytics to understand how the site is used — for example which pages are visited and, when you finish an export, that an export completed and whether it was audio or video. Analytics does not include your files, file names, or edit settings.

While you use the studio, your audio and video stay in the browser. We may store small preferences on your device (such as language and last-used edit settings). Microphone and camera access is used only to record locally. We do not require an account.

2. Your recordings

Editing, preview, and export run on your device. We do not upload or store your recordings on our servers during normal use. Download saves a file locally; Share sends it only to an app you choose.

3. Sharing and cookies

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers for hosting and analytics; they process data only to run the site. They may operate outside your country, including the United States.

Cookies and similar technologies. We may use a strictly necessary cookie to remember your language preference. We also use first-party, aggregated analytics (no advertising cookies or ad networks) to understand how the site is used. Analytics runs on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service; you may object as described in section 4. Studio preferences may be stored in your browser (for example language and last-used edit settings); they stay on your device and are not used to build an advertising profile.

4. Your rights

Under LGPD and, where applicable, GDPR, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking, deletion, portability (where feasible), information about sharing, and objection to processing that you believe is unlawful. EEA/UK residents may also restrict processing and complain to a supervisory authority.

We process visit and analytics data to operate and improve the service, based on legitimate interests and provision of the service under LGPD. Local editing does not send your media to us. If you object to analytics processing, email us; we will stop analytics measurement linked to you where we can reasonably do so.

5. Security, retention, and changes

The site uses HTTPS. Studio media exists only for your browser session until you leave or reset. Device preferences remain until you clear them in your browser. Server logs and aggregated analytics are kept only as long as needed to operate, secure, and measure the service — typically on the order of weeks to a few months, depending on our providers. EQShed is not directed at children under 13.

We may update this policy when the product changes. The date at the top will change when we do. Material changes (such as accounts, cloud storage, or advertising) will be reflected here before they go live.
